Brief summary of the organization's history

The Great Waters Center for Lifelong Learning is an organization formed in the spring of 2008 by a group of community members wishing to establish a regional campus that would provide a variety of educational opportunities to the people of the area.  The group started meeting in June 2008 and has been  gathering information to determine how to develop such a campus that will offer vocational technology training, college level courses, GED classes and testing, and community enrichment classes.
